Money Mindset in the New Normal
A lot of people think so incorrectly about money. They think that if they’re asking for any money during tough times, it’s a bad thing. But it’s the exact opposite.
People need an opportunity more than ever before! The truth is, people who had their careers figured out 10 months ago, don’t know what they’re doing right now. So you’ve got to figure out how to make money and you’ve got to figure out how to help others make money, too.
That’s why now is the perfect time to relaunch your business, specifically on social media.
If you want to make money from home, you’ve got to learn social media. And even if you’ve been doing it all wrong – spamming your product and/or company name, etc, you can still turn it around and do it the right way.
So stop overthinking it. Clean up your feed, use different approaches, and just follow up with people you haven’t talked to in a long time or you dropped the ball on.
And what can you do if you want to hit it and hit it hard? Here are Ray’s 3 best tips!
Tip #1: Become Addicted to a Specific Activity
If you’re planning on doing one video a day, pick where are you going to do that video each day, and get it done!
This strategy worked for Ray who focused on 3 things:
- getting 20 no’s a day
- creating one video a day
- doing self-development every day
It’s important to have specific metrics. Otherwise, it’s easy to get overwhelmed.
So choose the activities you want to do and make sure you get them done!
Ninja Tip: When you spend time on social media, think like a marketer, not just a consumer. For example, when you come across a funny post on your feed, look at the views and comments. Study that post and see what you can learn from it.
IMP: You don’t want to bite off more than you can chew. The truth is, you’re not going to master LinkedIn the same month you master TikTok and the same month you launch a podcast or a YouTube channel. That’s crazy town. So focus on one thing at a time. And here’s the deal, if you’re crushing it on Facebook right now, just keep doing that.
Tip #2: Pop the Question
Many people say they’re overwhelmed because they do so much but get no result. So then the biggest question becomes:
- “How many people did you actually ask if they’re open to taking a look at your product or service?”
If you’re not sure of the answer, then you just need to compartmentalize. Get real and honest with yourself. Admit that you might have wasted time and turn things around.
At the end of the day, no matter what platform you’re on, you need to know:
- how many eyeballs you got on your presentation
- how many people you asked if they’re open to your product or service
Focus on what you might be doing wrong and what you could improve to get the numbers you want.
Whether you’re on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc, you need to be raising curiosity!
You need to get people wondering:
- What it is that you’re doing?
- What are you a part of?
- When you reference a team, what does that mean?
So raise more curiosity rather than give away too much.
Don’t give away the ending of the movie because then people don’t have anything to ask you. For example, if you’re doing a demonstration on Facebook, your CTA (call to action) can be:
- “Hey, just feel free to message me, I’ll send you the recipe.”
- “Feel free to message me. I’ll tell you all the different products I use.”
It doesn’t matter what you’re selling or what products you’re using. The important thing is the conversation and the connection!
